REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The police have conducted investigation against a number of parties related to the spread of pornographic content in an alleged steamy text conversation of Firza Husein and Habib RIzieq Shihab.

The Spokesperson of Jakarta Metro Police Senior Commissioner Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono said the police are still searching for the perpetrator.

He said the police still have not got any clue on the perpetrator who distribute screenshot of the alleged steamy chat between Firza and Habib Rizieq Shihab. The screenshot was first found in a site called "Baladacintarizieq".

"It was spread by anonymous," Argo said on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, after being named as suspect in producing pornographic content on Tuesday, Firza Husein considered a pre-trial. Her lawyer, Aziz Yanuar, said they will discuss it for two or three days ahead.

FIrza would wait for police's decision of detention. "The due date is on Wednesday at 23:00 local time or 24 hours after the police naming Firza as suspect," Aziz said on Wednesday.

Aziz hoped his client would not be detained for Firza has been cooperative when being investigated.

Aziz reiterated Firza denied the allegation of making pornographic photos. He said Firza has never did photos that violate the norms of morality and religion nor violate Law No. 44 of 2008 and the laws of ITE.

On Tuesday, a member of National Movement to Safeguard Indonesian Council of Ulema’s Fatwa (GNPF MUI)’s legal team, Kapitra Ampera, said the police should investigate the party who distribute alleged pornographic content instead of questioning Habib Rizieq as victim of slander.

Moreover, there was no evidence of Habib Rizieq photo or voice in the video. Even if the screenshot was original, he questioned whether a personal chat could be a crime.

“Is it a violation of any law when a woman has personal photo collection? It is the person who steal and distributed it to be the suspect, not the victim of slanders,” said Kapitra in a press conference in AQL Center, South Jakarta on Tuesday (May 16).

Kapitra said the case was a fabricated to demoralize Habib Rizieq. He said Habib Rizieq was the central figure behind many recent demonstrations. He was argued to participate in making Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) defeated during the Jakarta gubernatorial election. He also encouraged Ahok to be prosecuted.

Kapitra insisted that the case was not part of law enforcement, but morality turbulence. “There were many people tried to demoralize Habib Rizieq. There was a purpose to conduct assassination to his character. They want him to lose Muslims’ trust,” said Kapitra.
