REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, GORONTALO -- Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) Asman Abnur said to raise Indonesian state officials' salary.  

"The salary of our state officials was low. Regional heads salary was not more than Rp 7 million. It necessary to be increase and balanced with better performances," said Asman in a visit to Gorontalo on Wednesday (April 26). 

He targeted the salary of civil state officials to be better, including the non-minister state officials.  He hoped it would encourage them to work better. 

The minister also aksed the staffs in National Police to show better performances. "Come early to the office as a discipline, not worried of finger scan, an official should oriented on working, creativity, and innovation," said him.  

During his speech, the minister praised the public servives in Gorontalo. He said the services in some institution he visited, such as one rooted system at Samsat office, immigration office, hospital and civil administration office, were better. He said all the institution worked as procedures.  

The minister also praised Gorontalo government's commitment to conduct many innovation. Gorontalo was argued to be potential for having global quality.
