REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Deputy Minister of Agriculture Sudaryono confirmed that PT Danantara Sumber Daya Indonesia (DSI) did not take advantage in implementing the crude palm oil (CPO) export policy through a one-stop scheme.

“Not taking advantage, yes, I repeat not taking advantage,” Wamentan said in a press conference after a coordination meeting to address the fall in the price of fresh fruit bunches of palm oil together with stakeholders in Jakarta on Friday (29/5/2026).

Sudaryono confirmed that the statement was related to the government's policy governing the export of coal, crude palm oil (CPO), and ferroalloys carried out in an integrated manner through PT Danantara Sumber Daya Indonesia (DSI).

The government has coordinated with various relevant parties, including Danantara, to ensure that export management runs transparently and accountably. He said PT DSI will play the role of managing and supervising company in the governance of national strategic commodity exports so that the trade mechanism runs more orderly.

“Concerns regarding PT DSI, I have coordinated with the relevant parties, be it Danantara or report to Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman. It is stated that PT DSI is a managing and supervisory company that performs its duties transparently and accountably in the future,” he said.

Through this explanation, Sudaryono hopes that there will be no more worries from downstream operators of the palm industry, especially refineries and exporters who have been active in export trade.

“We hope that after this there will be no more worries, especially from downstream operators of the palm industry, namely refineries and exporters,” he said.

Sudaryono explained that the government set a three-month transition period from June 1 to August 31, 2026 before PT DSI's export management policy is fully implemented.

During the transition period, the government will establish various stages of regulation so that gradually the export management of palm oil companies can be transferred through mechanisms managed by PT DSI.

The government targets from January 1, 2027 that the management of exports of palm, coal, and iron commodities can be fully carried out through PT DSI in a nationally integrated manner.
