These educational books are equipped with an image so that visitors interested in reading. In addition to books, there are also sightings of animals that are preserved there. The first attraction to be taken by the visitors is of dolphins and sea lions.
Ayu Istiani, an education entertainer of Smart House said preserved animals are animals that are already dead. Preservation does mean abuse to animals, but rather for educational purposes.
In this Smart House animals are kept in tubes of various sizes. On the front of the tube, there is a label that says the type of animal and when it has died. Ayu explained the factors of death of each animal, one of them is a baby sea lion.
According to Ayu, the sea lions die at birth because there are various abnormalities in the body. In addition to marine animals, there are much different type of animals that are preserved such as caterpillars, butterflies, insects, and more.
In addition, there are also educational videos about the birth of dolphins. The video shows the beginning process of contractions of the dolphins until the birth of the calf.
The library is open every day from 09.00 am until 17.00 pm. Smart House has supervisors, so visitors can wonder instantly and increase their knowledge of the animal world.
