REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG -- Heavy rains occurred since Tuesday (7/6) until Wednesday, early this morning, makes Dayeuhkolot line, Bandung regency, West Java, flooded immensely due to the overflowing of the Citarum River.

"I was forced to return to my house, and requested permission to excuse myself from work because for more than two hours of my motorcycle was not able to move near Wartawan Complex Baleendah due to flooding in Dauyeuhkolot," said one resident, Ratna Anggraeni, Wednesday (8/6).

Residents of Kampung Cipicung, Village Baleendah, Baleendah District of Bandung Regency said that they should have been able to get to work at 8 am in the area of Jalan Otto Iskandardinata Bandung, but due to flooding they are forced to request a day off.

Other citizens, Nuryani justify Dayeuhkolot flooding has inundated area, Bandung regency. "Conditions are now total congestion until Baleendah and Munjul direction, vice versa," said Nuryani.
