Jakarta to build nine flyovers in 2016

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Jakarta provincial government will build nine flyovers during 2016.

"This year we build nine flyovers such as in Permata Hijau. There are some crowded trajectory and also crowded in bottom," said Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) in Jakarta, Friday (20/5).

Flyovers project in some areas are still quiet and that surrounding area has busy trajectory.

"Development in the area of crossing a quiet area so that no termination red lights. And the next year is already finished," said Ahok.

The Jakarta government starts to build like Semanggi flyover. The road curved circle that will connect the vehicles from Grogol to Senayan and Sudirman also Cawang. This way has big influence, reducing 30 percent of congestion. So the rider is not obstructed from Soekarno-Hatta airport to Grogol.

With that flyover, vehicles from Jalan Gatot Subroto will not be met by vehicles from Jalan Sudirman under the bridge. Projects amount Rp 360 billion will be funded by PT Mitra Panca Persada as form of compensation.

The company has submitted license Building Floor coefficient (KLB) to another building. Besides finance the flyover, the corporate also finance infrastructure in other places that need the funds as much as Rp 219 billion.
