REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Four Indonesian finally freed from the militant group Abu Sayyaf in the Philippines. The release complements the 10 hostages were released previously.

Analyst of terrorism, Zaki Mubarak, suggest that the hostages’ cases should not be repeated, Indonesia must form special forces to counter the problems.

"Indonesia should form special forces (special teams force) to release of hostages," Zaki said on Thursday (12/5).

Then, he said, the special teams can be placed in the front line to free hostages.

"Unlike the current, when the government seems overwhelmed and emerge allegation of barter of hostage with money as demanded by hijackers," said Zaki.

He added, Indonesia also must conduct regional security cooperation involving ASEAN countries. Because, the hostage cases had become a threat to countries in Southeast Asia.

"Not only the Philippine, but also Indonesia and Malaysia," he said.

Zaki added, to avoid repeated hostage, the government also needs to have a map of the route or location prone to piracy. The map, later can avoid hijacking in the sea area.
