REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Netizens created an online petition at change.org to provide support to Warsito Purwo Taruno, scientist and inventor of Electrical Capacitance Tomography Volume (ECTV) and Electro-Capacitive Cancer Therapy (ECCT) technology utilized for treatment of cancer.
These tools are a static electricity-based scanner system. This system has applied widely in industrial and medical world. Recently, Warsito stated his research license was revoked by Ministry of Health.

Netizen who made the petition was Tri Sunaryanto from Yogyakarta. The petition was addressed to President Joko Widodo, Ministry of Research, and Ministry of Health. In the petition that was made on Wednesday (2/12), he wrote support for inventor and scientist for making cancer-fighting device in Indonesia.
In the online petition, an open letter written by Warsito in his Facebook account was attached, regarding the license revocation of the research. Warsito also wrote about ECTV and ECCT technology developed based on mathematical and physics principles.
