REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Jakarta Street Food Festival (JSFF) enlivened La Summarecon Piazza Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, started from Friday (6/11). On this third occasion in 2015, JSFF carried the concept of the European snacks.
"The composition is still 30 percent Europe and 70 percent local," said Deputy Executive Director of JSFF, Tommy, in North Jakarta, Saturday (8/11).
According to him, 70 percent of the local foods were inversely related to the concept of "European Snacks." Meatballs, fried rice, tofu, fried noodles, and many other local foods were always sought after visitors.
"There are 48 booths and 7 wagons. Those are spread out both light snacks and heavy meals," he added.
To get a variety of food and snacks, visitors could make a purchase of JSFF cards of Rp 50 thousand. They could also recharge the card.
Tommy stated that he did not target how many visitors who would be coming. However, he targeted that the event could be successful with a revenue of Rp 3 billion. He also had a special team to select the participants of the festival.
