PKS targets to gain 12 percent votes in election 2019

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, DEPOK -- Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) aimed to be a top party in legislative elections in 2019. It was after the party declared a target of 12 percent of votes in election 2019.

According to President of PKS, Mohammad Sohibul Iman, after a long discussion about the target of 12 percent, that target was considered to be very realistic. He also said, after reading the whole structure and seeing national political constellation, the target of 12 percent votes would be the most possible target to be achieved.

"We want to change class from middle class of political parties, that gain below 10 percent votes, become top class with 12 percent of votes," said Sohibul, in IV PKS Congress, in Depok, Wednesday (4/11).

Sohibul added, to achieve this target, PKS has prepared several strategies. The strategies are also one of 70 national strategic programs.

During the next five years, the entire cadres of PKS would be driven to be the solution of society problems. PKS also would prepare cadres who will be candidate of regional head, distant days before the election.
