REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Selection Committee of leadership of Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has submitted eight names of candidates to President Joko Widodo. The President also confirmed that selection process conducted by the selection committee was based on integrity, competence, leadership, independence, and experience related to eradication of corruption.

“The candidates were divided into four division, namely prevention, enforcement, management, and coordination of supervision and monitoring,” Jokowi said, Tuesday (1/9).

For prevention, the selection committee had chosen Saut Situmorang (Expert Staff of BIN) and Surya Tjandra (Lecturer of Law Department of Unika Atma Jaya)

For prosecution, the selection committee had selected Alexander Marwata (Ad Hoc Judge of Central Jakarta Corruption Court) and Basaria Panjaitan (Police)

For management, the selection committee chose Agus Rahardjo (Head of the Policy Institute for Government Goods/Services) and Sujanarko (Director of Network Development Cooperation Inter-Commission and Agency of KPK).

While for coordination of supervision monitoring, the selection committee selected Johan Budi Sapto Pribowo (Plt KPK) and Laode Muhammad Sharif (Rector of law department of Hasanuddin University).

“Tomorrow, I will prepare a letter for parliament regarding the eight names of candidates,” he added.
