REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) welcomed the heads of state and delegates of the 10th World Water Forum as invited guests, at a dinner at Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park (GWK), Bali, Sunday (19/5/2024) evening.
According to a live stream on YouTube of the Presidential Secretariat, Joko Widodo welcomed by shaking hands and greeting the heads of state and delegates who were present. Joko Widodo also appeared to have a conversation with invited guests in attendance.
“Mr. Minister, you are healthy, thank you for attending,” the President said as he welcomed the arrival of Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Dato Sri Haji Fadillah Bin Haji Yusof and his wife.
The heads of state and delegates of the 10th World Water Forum (WWF) will be entertained at a welcome dinner with a banquet of traditional dishes typical of the archipelago prepared. This state dinner was held at Garuda Vishnu Kencana Cultural Park (GWK).
In addition, welcome performances in rhythm with the theme of the World Water Forum have also been prepared.
“Everything I believe is well prepared and must have been very good,” said Director Government Relation and Permit Alam Sutera Group as manager of GWK Cultural Park in a written statement.
The series of dinner activities will begin at 17:00 WITA to 22:00 WITA and will be attended by approximately 2,300 people, consisting of 500 naratetama (VVIP) invitations and 1,800 other invitees.
