REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Commission VIII Member of the House of Representatives (DPR) from PKS faction Abdul Fikri Faqih said Religious Affairs Ministry needed to maximize the protection function of pilgrims.

"The protection function should be made of safety insurance to health insurance. And it should be maximized by Religious Affairs Ministry. Especially, if they encounter administrative obstacles and problems in Saudi Arabia," said Fikri, on Wednesday, July 15.

In the implementation of the Hajj, there were two main functions of Ministry that assisted directly by Hajj Guidance Group (KBIH) namely the guidance and service. KBIH who performed the rituals regularly and intensively.

The understanding level of Hajj pilgrims on the Hajj implementation is varied. It is fulfilled by KBIH since the pilgrims had not departed to the holy land. Not infrequently the Hajj tutors envoyed by KBIH risk their institution to serve pilgrims fully in order to be perfect. KBIH was also couching after Hajj worship.

Fikri hoped synergy Religious Affairs Ministry with KBIH could make a better implementation of the Hajj and provide optimal service for pilgrims.
