REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Presidential Palace until now claimed did not have received the proposal of aspiration funds from the House of Representatives (DPR). State Secretary Pratikno said there was no incoming mail from the Parliament related to funds which included in the Proposed of Electoral District Development Program (UP2DP).

"We have not received it," he said at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta, on Monday, July 6.

The palace itself will hold a plenary session to discuss the draft of State Budget (APBN) 2016 on this afternoon. Nevertheless, Pratikno could not confirm whether the proposed of aspirations funds from the parliament will be discussed in the cabinet meeting.

"I don’t know, Finance Minister who understands it," said the former rector of Gajah Mada University.

Previously, the Presidential Palace had expressed his opposition to the proposed of aspiration funds from the parliament. President Jokowi, according to Pratikno, assessed that the parliament was not right passing the program amid the weakening economic conditions at this time.

Therefore, Jokowi urged to all parties to be extra careful in making policy, especially related to the budget.

"Aspiration funds, if it is defined as a new expenditure item and then outside the program as planned, so it obviously cannot (be passed)," said Pratikno.
