Police Chief receives Top Bhayangkara Star award

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The National Police Chief General Badrodin Haiti was awarded Top Bhayangkara Star from President Joko Widodo. Embedding awards ceremony led by Coordinating Political, Legal and Security Affairs Minister (Menkopolhukam), Tedjo Edhy Purdijatno, in the main hall of the Police Headquarters on Monday, June 29.

After the event, Badrodin said that he was grateful for the award. The award was also special because it coincides with the day of 69th Bhayangkara. "Of course this is the highest award in the National police," said the former head of the  Police Security Maintenance Agency.

Award to Badrodin based on President Decree (SK) Number 62 / TK / 2015. In the decree, it mentioned services and devotion of Badrodin against the national police which was considered good.

In addition to the Police Chief, two-star general also received award  the Primary Bhayangkara Star Honors. Embedding was done directly by Badrodin.

The award ceremony was attended by all high-ranking officials in the police institution. Among them the deputy chief Commissioner General Budi Gunawan, National Police Criminal Investigation Directorate (Bareskrim) Chief Commissioner General Budi Waseso, Head of the Police Education Institute (Kalemdikpol) Commissioner General Syafruddin. On the occasion, also attended the Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Taufiequrachman Ruki, and Attorney General HM Prasetyo.
