REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Former of State Owned Enterprises Minister (BUMN), Dahlan Iskan was undergoing examination in the Attorney General (AGO) for eight hours. Dahlan examined as a witness in a case of alleged corruption in the procurement of electric cars in 2013.
Dahlan began checked at 09.30 and out at 17.30. However, after being checked Dahlan did not want to explain about the examination material.
"I cannot give details because Mr. Yusril had already testified, so I apologize the information was enough that given by Mr. Yusril," said Dahlan, at the Roundhouse, Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jam Pidsus) of AGO, on Wednesday, June 17.
Meanwhile, Head of Sub-Directorate of Investigation of Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jam Pidsus), Sarjono Turin said the investigators was filed approximately 32 questions against Dahlan. The questions related to his role while served as minister.
"Meanwhile it is still studying whether Dahlan was involved directly, based on the facts of the investigation that we’ll found in the future," said Sarjono.
Sarjono added, one of the questions being asked related to who planned the project. In addition, related to specification it also included material in question.
The investigators, he added, has not been able to conclude the appointment of the three state-owned (BUMN) companies to finance the project carried out by Dahlan. According to Sarjono, it was also need information of other witnesses.
Previously, Dahlan’s lawyer, Yusril Ihza Mahendra said the cost which was used for the procurement of electric cars were on the company’s promotion fund. It was means it was not sourced from the state budget (APBN).
Sarjono allowed Dahlan to deny the used funds were not from state money. However, said Sarjono, BUMN could also be regarded as the country's financial resource.
