REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Minister of State-owned Enterprises Rini Soemarno expected state oil and gas company PT Pertamina to be transparent. Instead of conducting Initial Public Offering (IPO), she expected Pertamina to issue bonds.

"I agree that Pertamina should issue bonds offered in Indonesian Stock Exchange," Soemarno said on Tuesday, December 2.

She said that Pertamina had burdened with debt. In 2013, the debt mounted to 288.4 trillion IDR. "The right solution is for Pertamina to issue bonds," she said.

Pertamina is also expected to issue quarterly financial report. The move will also promote transparency.
