REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, PARIS -- The French presidency announced on Tuesday the new cabinet line-up under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Manuel Valls, saying some ministers, who rejected the government's economic policy, were changed.

The announcement of the line-up came after French President Francois Hollande made all consultations with Premier Valls after changing Economy Minister Arnaud Montebourg and Education Minister Benoit Hamon after rejecting government's austerity policy implemented in the country two years ago.

Hollande, who faces a political crisis, ordered Valls to reshuffle a harmonious government to be consistent with the direction the president has set for the country, said a statement by the presidency.

There are no big changes in ministerial portfolios, the statement said, adding that those remaining in the posts include Finance Minister Michel Sapin, Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius, Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve, Justice Minister Christiane Taubira, Agriculture Minister Stephane Le Foll and Ecology Minister Segolene Royal.
