REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Private investment firm PT Saratoga Investama Sedaya (SRTG) targets to reach new investment worth 100-150 million USD this year to strengthen the company's portofolio. Chief Financial Officer of SRTG, Jerry Ngo said that the company still focused PT Saratoga Investama Sedaya (SRTG)The company also plans to carry out an innitial public offering (IPO) for several investment companies, particularly mineral resources companies, gas and petroleum, as well as infrastructure sector, such as power plant business.
"Power plant is a prospective business to be developed in future, because only 70 percent of Indonesian people can get access to electricity," Ngo said recently.
SRTG posted 55 percent of revenue worth 3.7 billion IDR in 2013, while the gross profit reached 373 billion IDR. The positive performance was mainly supported by oil refinery business.
In 2013, company reached total assets of 16.2 trillion IDR or increased 26 percent from 12.9 trillion IDR in 2012. The increase was driven by additional investment of four trillion IDR in 2013.
