REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The national low cost carrier (LCC) Citilink set to increase flight frequency on five routes.

Chief Executive Officer of PT Citilink Indonesia Arif Wibowo said that the five routes; Jakarta-Medan (CGK-KNO), round trip (PP), Jakarta-Denpasar (CGK-DPS) PP, Jakarta-Padang (CGK-PDG) PP, Jakarta-Semarang (CGK-SRG) PP, and the Jakarta - Surabaya (CGK-SUB) effective from December 20, 2013.

The addition make Citilink frequency for CGK-KNO PP becomes six times a day, CGK-PDG PP to six times a day, CGK-PDG PP to three times a day, CGK-SRG to three times a day, and CGK-SUB to nine times a day.

"We believe the addition of the flight frequency on the five routes will make it easier for Citilink passengers (Citilinker) for vacation and met relatives at Christmas and New Year holidays. Our newest fleet of Airbus A320 Sharklets will provide comfort and unforgettable experience for all passengers," he said, in a written statement received ROL, Wednesday (11/12).

Arif added, Citilink currently has 66 connecting flights to various cities in Indonesia. The connecting flights facilitate Citilinkers for not to check in on a flight to the final destination.

Until now, Citilink operates a fleet of the latest 24 Airbus A320, two of them sharklets types or winged shark fin models. The entire fleet is to serve 22 domestic routes in 20 destinations to various cities in Indonesia every day. Citilink currently has a level of punctuality (OTP) of 86 percent.
