REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, NUSA DUA -- Seven foreign tourists were among 33 participants in a body painting display held during the 16th Nusa Dua Fiesta in Bali on Saturday.
"I like art, and this is the first time I became a body painting model. I like it very much, the location is comfortable and the local people are hospitable," Katya, a Russian designer, said here on Saturday.
According to Katya, body painting is part of art and culture, so it is interesting for body painters to express their ideas.
The body painting models looked happy to have their bodies painted, in an event dubbed "Forest Conservation."
Part of the paintings look like pictures of animals, such as tigers and snakes.
The organizing committee provided trophies and money prizes for the winners.
