National tourism ambassador expected to bring Islamic value in Aceh

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, -- BANDA ACEH - About 34 provinces in Indonesia confirmed to send each delegation to participate in selection of National Tourism Ambassador in Banda Aceh on November 12-18, 2013. Head Department of Culture and Tourism, Adami Umar expected that the event could be one of promotional events of Aceh situation to representatives of each province.

"All provinces have confirmed to send its delegates to this event," Umar said recently.

The event is the first held in Aceh that shows sincerity of all parties to promote Aceh tourism and its economic potential to public. Umar said that Aceh tourism promotion could not be separated from Islamic values.

This event is expected to promote culture and potential tourism sites in Aceh to boost tourism visitors in in future. The event can show delegates about Islamic culture in Aceh.

Aceh has the potential of cultural tourism, nature, tsunami sites, spiritual sites which are expected to attract domestic and international tourists.
