REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) will accept any decision on minimum percentage of presidential election threshold.

"If ithe minimum threshold is 20 percent of the seats in parliament, or 25 percent of the valid notes nationally, we are ready," a senior figure PKS, Hidayat Nur Wahid said on Wednesday.

A result of survey said there was no party that had the electability exceeded 20 percent. It means each political party planning to propose the presidential candidates should form coalition with other party.

Wahid said PKS had not decided whether to join the coalition or not for 2014 presidential election. He said it would be decided after the legislative elections.

Related to the revision of regulation of Presidential Elections No. 42/2008, PKS highlights two crucial articles. First, the double position of presidential candidate. Second, the use of campaign funds and media campaigns. Both articles are important, because it rules that a president must focus on the state's tasks. While the funding arrangement and the advertising campaign are necessary to avoid monopoly by one or two presidential candidates.
