National Narcotics Agency (BNN) destroys meth

A suspect of meth smuggling puts the confiscated meth into a machine to destroy it in Jakarta on Thursday.

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - National Narcotics Agency (BNN) destroyed 1,850.5 grams of methamphetamine on Thursday. The meth was confiscated from two smuggling cases. 

First, smuggling case of meth from Nunukan, East Kalimantan. The perpetrator with initial name TS alias JS, brought 1093,5 grams of meth. On the second case, 757 grams of meth was smuggled through a courier service company by shipping it from Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia to TR (initial) in Bogor. 

If convicted, each suspect can face death penalty, life imprisonment, or jailed 6 to 20 years.
