REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BERLIN - Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) arrived in Tegel International Airport in Berlin on Sunday night to start his three day working visit to Germany. SBY is scheduled to meet German Chancellor Angela Merkel to discuss follow-up measures of the comprehensive partnership launched in Jakarta on July 10, 2012.
Both has a wide range of issues to discuss, including economy (trade, investment and development), health, education, research and technology, and defense industry. They discuss other cooperation areas, such as food security, energy security and transportation. Indonesia and Germany will also announce the members of Indonesia-German Advisory Group (IGAG).
"The President will also receive honorary visits from former German President Horst Kohler, German Minister of Foreign Affairs Guido Westerwelle and Berlin Mayor Herr Klaus Wowereit," Faizasyah.
While in Germany, SBY is scheduled to co-host international tourism exhibition, International Tourism Bourse (ITB), with Merkel. He is also scheduled to attend a business forum with German entrepreneurs and Indonesian diaspora community. From Berlin, SBY will fly to Budapest, Hungary.
