REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) on Wednesday said that he was being denounced for the last eight years of his presidency.
"I've been denounced by all Indonesian people and it's been more than eight years," he said on Wednesday.
He responded to complaints by regional leaders when people criticized their policies during their office term. The president then compared such criticisms to protests towards himself during more than eight years. "I can be strong, so you can. The most important thing is do your best," SBY said. "Face them and I believe the result will be better than surender and do nothing, involve in conflicts or even attack each other," he warned.
