REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BOGOR - Indonesia urges Myanmar to resolve conflict in Rakhine as the conflict has destroy life in the region. "We understand, it is communal conflict," Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono told participants of the 4th World Peace Forum in Bogor Palace.

SBY admitted he had talked to his Myanmar counterpart, President Thein Sein, about the case during ASEAN Summit in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. At the meeting Indonesia firstly encouraged Myanmar government to restore security in Rakhine and rebuild the area while at the same time the government protect the Rohingya people. 

Indonesia also asked Myanmar government to  maintain effective communication with UN, ASEAN, OIC, and friendly countries. In its part, Indonesia also committed to provide humanitarian assistance to the people. According to SBY, President Thein responded positively during the talk.
