REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SOLO - Germany`s ambassador to Indonesia, Dr Norbert Baas, expressed his country`s readiness in providing experts to help develop the Esemka car project. He roject of students made car currently is being carried out by the Surakarta (Solo) municipal administration.

"We are ready to provide experts in the automotive industry, including management, in order to develop the Esemka car project that is being carried out by the Surakarta municipal administration," the German ambassador said on the sidelines of his meeting with Surakarta mayor Joko Widodo (Jokowi), on Friday.

In addition to providing experts, the German ambassador also offered work training for the Esemka car automotive industry experts in German automotive companies. Earlier, Germany has provided several experts for the Surakarta municipal government in textile manufacturing, entrepreneurship and infrastructure.

"We also invite Mr Jokowi to come to Germany and deliver a speech about the development of the automotive industry in Solo," the envoy said.
