REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - The Head of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), Habib Muhammad Rizieq Shihab, came to Jakarta Metro Police at around 11:00 pm. He was examined regarding of his statement that there were a symbol of the hammer and sickle (communist) in the logo of new Indonesian money.

There was a bit clash when Habib Rizieq enter the gates of the Directorate of Special Crime of Jakarta Metro Police headquarter. Members of the media tried to break through the cordon stationed along the gateway to the building.

Habib Rizieq spoke and promised to give an explanation. He said he wondered why he was summoned by the investigators. He argued that he gave a warning to the government and the people of Indonesia for the indication of emergence of Indonesia Communist Party (PKI) revival. 

Habib Rizieq claimed he have given the same warning to the House of Representatives. He hoped that the warning can be a concern for the country. But, he said, the efforts led him to be summoned by the police. He also claimed to be fulfilling the invitation.

Habib Rizieq wanted to know what is the reason, so that his questioned got an answer. "What do they want to ask, to allege? We will see later on the questions. I'll give the details," he said.

Meanwhile, Head of Public Relations Jakarta Metro Police Commissioner Argo Yuwono said the case has met the criminal element. However, the police has not set Habib Rizieq as the suspect in this case. "We will examine some witnessess to determine who the suspect is," he told reporters at Jakarta Metro Police headquarters on Monday.
