I wait for what the need is and soon we are fulfilled,” he said.

The Regent of Aceh Tamiang, Armia Fahmi, mentioned the urgent need for post-flood management, especially in inland areas that are difficult to reach. “There are three main things that are very crucial to the tackling effort on the pitch. We need vehicles to break through isolated areas, we need vehicles to transport groceries,” Armia said.

The aid in question included rubber boats with special specifications for wading through a region that is currently still isolated. Although logistical help has arrived, Aceh Tamiang is still in dire need of central support to reach out to the community and restore conditions. Armia added: “We also need a lot of shelter because a lot of residents' dwellings are lost.“

Based on provisional data up to December 6, 2025, it was recorded that the displaced reached 262,087 people, with 18 injured, 57 dead, and 22 missing.
