REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Search and Rescue team found debris suspectedly from missing AirAsia flight QZ8501 in Pangkalan Bun Waters, Central Kalimantan. The Ministry of Transportation confirmed the information.

"The debris is fragmented. Each fragment is red and white," Acting Director General of Aviation at the Ministry of Transportation, Djoko Murjatmodjo, said on Tuesday, December 30.

The debris is found in three spots, which are around 99.9 miles from Pangkalan Bun. "We will compare it with part number," he said.

National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) is going to examine the location as soon as weather permits. "We will focus the search within the area," he said.
