REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BREBES -- The implementation of one-way or one-way traffic engineering in the Trans Java Toll Road was extended to Pejagan-Pemalang Kilometer (Km) 263 Toll Road, Thursday (3/27/2025). Previously, one way was only implemented from Cikampek Toll Km 70 to Palimanan-Kanci Toll Km 210.

“The one way traffic engineering was extended from KM 210 Palimanan-Kanci Toll Road section to KM 263 Pejagan-Pemalang Toll Road section at 18:30pm,” said Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT JTT, Ria Marlinda Paallo, in the statement.

He urged users of the Trans Java Toll Road to keep driving according to the rules for safety and to maintain physical condition during the homecoming trip. “Make sure you and your vehicle are in good condition, ensure adequate power, fuel and electronic money balances, and comply with the signs and directions of officers on the ground,” Ria said.

Earlier Korlantas Polri had decided to impose a local one way starting from Cikampek Toll Gate Km 70 to Cipali Toll Km 188. Police Commissioner General Pol Agus Suryonugroho revealed that before imposing one way, he had first implemented a two-stage counter-current or contraflow mechanism, namely at Cipali Toll Road Km 109 to Km 162.

“So after we did the contraflow, the current level was quite high, especially after there was a free homecoming departure, so we coordinated with Jasa Marga, we did one way locally,” Agus said at the Command Center Km 29 Korlantas Police.

He revealed that since the local one way is implemented, vehicles from east to west or towards Jakarta on the Trans Java Toll will be diverted to the national route. “So we switch to the artery. So it's been socialized. We have coordinated with the Jasa Marga side how later there will still be a need for a quick pull so that later there will be no overcrowding and we will socialize again,” Agus said.

The local One way was then extended from Cipali Toll Km 189 to Km 210.
