PBNU Chairman Wishes Prabowo-Gibran to Promote the Economy and Welfare of the People

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Chairman of the Pengurus Besar Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) KH Ahmad Fahrur Rozi, known as Gus Fahrur, congratulated presidents Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka. He prayed that both of them would always receive help, guidance and guidance from Allah SWT to lead the Indonesian nation to become better and prosperous.

“We together with all Indonesians hope that the government works hard to advance the economy and the welfare of the people, to make food ingredients more affordable and easy to obtain,” Gus Fahrur told Republika, Sunday (20/10/2024).

He said that the government should pay sufficient attention to improving the educational facilities of the people, especially private schools and boarding schools in various regions, including in eastern Indonesia.

According to him, the attention of the government to the world of education and employment is very important, especially until now there are still many unemployed youth and young people.

“The new workforce of students and learners who will enter the job market need to be taken care of and given appropriate skills training,” said Gus Fahrur.
