Jokowi and Kiai Ma'ruf Dine Together in the National Axis Area of IKN

All Indonesian Cabinet ministers united at dinner in the area of Axis of Kebangsaan, Central Core Area of Government (KIPP), Capital City of Nusantara (IKN), Penajam Paser Utara Regency, Sunday (11/8/2024).

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, NORTH PASER PENAJAM -- President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and Vice President (Vice President) KH Ma'ruf Amin accompanied by Indonesian Cabinet ministers to have a dinner together in the area of Axis of Kebangsaan, Central Core Area of Government (KIPP), Capital City of Nusantara (IKN), Penajam Paser Utara Regency, Sunday (11/8/2024).

The activity was published by Deputy Minister of Agrarian and Space/Deputy Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) who is also Deputy Head of the IKN Authority Raja Juli Antoni via Instagram account @rajaantoni. From the photo, it is visible the familiarity of the ministers sitting together.

The President and Vice President were seen sitting opposite the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security (Menko Polhukam) Hadi Tjahjanto and President-elect and Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto.

They had dinner together in the area of Axis Kebangsaan exactly in front of Istana Negara and Istana Garuda IKN. It looks like the flickering lights emanating from Istana Garuda IKN.

President Jokowi and his entourage arrived at the Helipad of IKN Area, Penajam Paser Utara Regency, East Kalimantan at about 17:50 WITA. He was welcomed by the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing as well as Acting Head of the IKN Authority Basuki Hadimuljono, Police Officer Penajam Paser Utara AKBP Suprianto, and Dandim 0913/PPU Letkol Inf Arfan Affandi.

Jokowi and his entourage then continued on their way to Istana Negara IKN by car. The President will hold a Plenary Cabinet Session at Istana Garuda IKN on Monday (12/8/2024). All ministers will be present at this cabinet meeting.

In addition, Jokowi will also carry out the first stone laying of a number of infrastructure developments such as banking and property. Including, the construction of the Palace of the Vice President.
