“Ready, God willing,” the worshipper replied.

The Vice President stressed the importance of maintaining health while in the Holy Land, given the extremely hot weather conditions in Mecca, reaching 42-43 degrees Celsius.

“Do not forget to always carry water, take care of your health and liver so as not to get too tired. The weather in Mecca was very hot, 43 degrees. Do not force yourself,” the Vice President said.

In addition, he also reminded the worshipers to practice their worship properly and to always draw close to the God of Ta'ala.

On the occasion, the Vice President led the talbiyah prayer which was followed by worshippers. He also prayed that all pilgrims could perform the Hajj well and return safely to their homeland.

“May you, fathers and mothers be able to perform the Hajj well, and may you become a successful Hajj,” he said.

To the media crew, the Vice President said that the Hajj officers had been prepared by the government to serve Indonesian pilgrims.

He asked the Hajj officers to always guide worshippers especially the elderly.

The Vice President also said that many Indonesian hajj worshippers have been patiently waiting for the return. Some have even waited up to 50 years.

“The average Aceh Hajj worshipper waits 34 years for the departure of his chosen hajj. There are also those up to 50 years old. Yes, because it is time for the Minister of Hajj of Saudi Arabia to come here so I ask for more that next year,” the Prime Minister said.
