REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Minister of Agrarian and Spatience/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) handed over 300 land certificates symbolically in the Red and White Hall of the Governor's Office of Southeast Sulawesi, Kendari City, Friday (26/4/2024) evening.
“Earlier, there were 50 certificates from PTSL (complete systematic land registration), 15 from redistribution, 38 from waqfs or houses of worship, 157 cabinet assets and 50 from land consolidation,” AHY said when interviewed after the certificate submission.
AHY admitted that as a newly appointed minister by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) it will commit that the Ministry of ATR/BPN must always provide the best service to the community. Therefore, it is no wonder that a busy schedule awaits.
“So it is approximately two months after being sworn in that I am committed to continue working,” the Democratic Party's DPP general chairman said.
According to AHY, despite being hit by a tight schedule, he remains optimistic of working. Because, he knows that in various regions there is a synergy of collaboration or tricolocation of the ATR/BPN ranks with policy stakeholders.
AHY added that when talking about land issues we are not only talking about economic and justice issues, but also that most of all anyone is treated unfairly in his own country. On that basis, the Ministry of ATR/BPN was present to strive for this.
“Land matters do not look at the economic and social status of anyone who has a land dispute complaint we are always ready to settle,” he said.
AHY in Kendari City, Bumi Anoa Southeast Sulawesi also submitted land certificates door to door in Opaasi Village, Ranomeeto Barat District, South Konawe Regency. Earlier, he conducted a press conference in Mapolda Sultra related to the disclosure and suppression of two land mafia cases in Kendari City.
Two cases of land mafia that have been uncovered are for 44.9 hectares of land with state losses reaching Rp 337 billion.
