REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANJARMASIN -- Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of South Kalimantan Muhammad Tambrin conveyed the Embarkation of Banjarmasin In the 2024 Hajj Hajj season, there will be a total of 19 klots.

According to him, the Banjarmasin Embarkation brought 5,759 pilgrims from two provinces, namely Kalsel Province itself and Central Kalimantan Province (Kalteng).

He said 4,071 people were sent for Hajj candidates from Kalsel province, while 1,688 pilgrims from Kalteng. According to Tambrin, the departure of Hajj Embarkasi Banjarmasin from Syamsudin Noor Banjarmasin International Airport, Kalsel began on 12 May 2024.

“So on May 11, 2024, the first Hajj kloter worshipers have entered Haji Kalsel Dormitory in Banjarbaru City,” he said on Friday (4/26/2024).

“But there could be changes, adjusting for airline readiness,” he revealed.

According to him, pilgrims of the Banjarmasin Embarkation Hajj will be sent using a Garuda Airbus 330 aircraft with a capacity of 320 worshippers.

Currently, the preparation of Hajj worship by performing the Hajj manasik is carried out 10 times, namely eight times at the level of the District KUA and twice in the district/city.

Tambrin hopes that his congregation will be able to make the most of the manasik period to provide understanding and knowledge in performing the Hajj series so that they have the means to avoid confusion in the practice of worship.
