REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS) RI together with Faculty of Speech and Communication Sciences (FDIKOM) Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah strengthens synergies to optimize zakat speech for empowerment and literacy society.

“This is very important especially to optimize zakat proclamation, as well as for the development of human resources (HR) involved in delivering information about zakat,” said BAZNAS RI Head of Collection Rizaludin Kurniawan in a statement in Jakarta, some time ago.

Rizaludin hopes that this cooperation will make a significant contribution to poverty alleviation efforts through community empowerment and increased understanding of zakat among the community.

BAZNAS RI Head of National Coordination Achmad Sudrajat said cooperation with FDIKOM UIN Jakarta will strengthen BAZNAS Institute which focuses on training, amil zakat certification, and research.

“This step is expected to have a significant positive impact on poverty alleviation efforts and community empowerment through zakat,” Achmad said.

Meanwhile, Dean of FDIKOM UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Gun Heryanto delivered many BAZNAS programs aligned with FDIKOM UIN Syarif Hidayatullah.

“As a higher education institution, in this regard UIN always puts forward mutually reinforcing collaborations,” he said.

Gun Gun hopes that the cooperation of BAZNAS and FDIKOM UIN Syarif Hidayatullah will be able to strengthen each other especially in the field of journalism and Islamic Broadcasting Communication (KPI) so that it can strengthen the right communication for purpose and on target.
