REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MANADO -- The Ministry of Religious Affairs (Ministry of Religious Affairs) continues to increase the socialization of halal certificates to the outskirts of villages in North Bolaang Mongondow Regency (Bolmut), North Sulawesi Province (Sulut).
“We do this so that business people who get halal certificates are not only in the city but to the outskirts of the village,” said Islamic Religious Extension of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Bolaang Mongondow North (Bolmut) District, Mei Kosegeran, in Boroko, Wednesday (25/1/2024).
It carried out the socialization of halal certificates in the 2025 Development Plan Consultation (Musrembang) activity of Inomunga Village, Kaidipang District.
His presence at the village's activities to socialize the Bolmut Ministry program to the people in the local village.
“We are here to socialize about the halal certification program, so that business people in the village can be certified,” said Mei.
The village government participants were so enthusiastic about listening to the program presented.
In fact, he said, in the near future some business operators in the village stated they are ready to support the halal certification program, and will apply for a halal certificate.
“God willing in the near future there are some business people going to the office to see us to take care of halal certificates,” he said.
Activities were attended by community leaders, religious figures, indigenous figures, youth figures, as well as representatives of the Islamic Ormas.
