As is known, there are three MER-C volunteers who are still in Indonesian hospital in Gaza, namely Fikri Rofiul Haq, Reza Aldilla Kurniawan, and Farid ZanAl Ayubi. However, Rima has not been able to confirm who the two Israelis arrested are.

To convey the latest information from Gaza, MER-C will hold a press conference tonight which will be chaired directly by the Chairman of the Presidium Medical Emergency Rescue Committee (MER-C), Dr Sarbini Abdul Murad.

“I haven't got the information (who was arrested), just that. Later it may be explained directly by the president of MER-C,” Rima said.

Earlier, Israel launched a brutal attack on the Indonesian Hospital (RSI) in northern Gaza since Monday (20/11/2023) at dawn local time. MER-C invites all Indonesians to pray for the three MER-C volunteers who are still there.

“We also ask the Indonesian people to pray together, because there are three Indonesian volunteers who today are staying at Indonesian Hospital,” Dr. Sarbini said during a press conference in Jakarta on Monday (20/11/2023).

With the prayers of the Indonesian people, Sarbini hopes his three volunteers can survive and be able to carry out the task as they should.

“We pray for them to be given health, to be helped by Allah SWT, so that they can carry out their duties, to help our brothers who are in Gaza,” Dr Sarbini said.

MER-C has lost contact with all three of its volunteers since Saturday (11/11/2023). The three MER-C volunteers were Fikri Rofiul Haq, Reza Aldilla Kurniawan, and Farid Zan Al Ayubi.
