REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — The Jews have a spate of bad dispositions that Allah Subhanahu mentioned in the Quran.

A true Muslim will surely realize the inherent bad character of the Jews. Through Telegram message muslim preacher Abdullah Roy explained 10 ugly characters of the Jews, the following among them:

1. They will never get along with the Muslims until we give up Islam

Wa lan tarḍā 'angkal-yahụdu wa lan-naṣārā ḥattā tattabi'a millatahum, qul inna hudallāhi huwal-hudā, wa la`inittaba'ta ahwā`ahum ba'dallażī jā`aka minal-'ilmi mā laka minallāhi miw waliyyiw wa lā naṣīr

“And the Jews and the Christians will not turn to you (Muhammad) until you follow their religion. Say, “Indeed, Allah's guidance is the guidance. “And if you follow their desires after knowledge reaches you, there will be no protector or helper from Allah” (Al-Baqarah verse 120).

2. Mixing truth and falsehood and hiding knowledge

wa lā talbisul-ḥaqqa bil-bāṭili wa taktumul-ḥaqqa wa antum ta’lamụn

And do not mix the truth with falsehood or conceal the truth while you know [it] (Al-Baqarah verse 42).

3. Loves to corrupt and inflame slander and warfare

Wa qaalatil Yahoodu Yadullaahi maghloolah; ghulla aideehim wa lu'inoo bimaa qaaloo; bal yadaahu mabsoo tataani yunfiqu kaifa yashaaa'; wa la yazeedanna kaseeramm minhum maaa unzila ilaika mir Rabbika tughyaananw wa kufraa; wa alqainaa bainahumul 'adaawata wal baghdaaa a' ilaa Yawmil Qiyaamah; kullamaaa awqadoo naaral lilharbi at fa-ahal laah; wa yas'awna fil ardi fasaadaa; wal laahu laa yuhibbul mufsideen (al-Māʾidah 5:64)

And the Jews say, "The hand of Allah is chained." Chained are their hands, and cursed are they for what they say. Rather, both His hands are extended; He spends however He wills. And that which has been revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief. And We have cast among them animosity and hatred until the Day of Resurrection. Every time they kindled the fire of war [against you], Allah extinguished it. And they strive throughout the land [causing] corruption, and Allah does not like corrupters.

4. Envy people

Or do they envy people for what Allah has given them of His bounty? But We had already given the family of Abraham the Scripture and wisdom and conferred upon them a great kingdom (An Nisa: 54).

5. Eager to distort Muslim

Wadda kaseerum min ahlil kitaabi law yaruddoo nakum mim ba'di eemaanikum kuffaaran hasadam min 'indi anfusihim mim ba'di maa tabaiyana lahumul haqqu fa'foo washfahoo hattaa yaa tiyallaahu bi amrih; innal laaha 'alaa kulli shai'in qadeer (al-Baqarah 2:109)

Many of the People of the Scripture wish they could turn you back to disbelief after you have believed, out of envy from themselves [even] after the truth has become clear to them. So pardon and overlook until Allah delivers His command. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.
