REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Indonesian Financial Services Authority (FSA/OJK) has registered 147 fintech loan companies as of March 30, 2021. This realization is down from the previous month's record of 148 companies.

Based on the official statement of the OJK on Wednesday (14/4), the company that received a registered certificate was PT Gerakan Digital Akselerasi Indonesia.

Since March 30, 2021, the total number of fintech peer-to-peer lending registered and licensed by the OJK is 147 companies.

OJK conveyed that registered status administrators can run an information technology-based lending and borrowing service business in accordance with applicable regulations. However, licensed operators have different statuses from registered operators.

First, a licensed organizer is a company that has obtained a permanent permit and has a certificate of SNI / ISO 270001 Information Security Management System.

Second, registered operators are companies that are currently in the process of obtaining a permanent permit and are required to apply for a permanent permit to the OJK.

Currently, all registered operators have submitted applications and are in the process of obtaining the said permanent permits.

Therefore, OJK urges the public to use the services of fintech lending providers that are registered/licensed by the OJK.
