REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA —  Crescent Star Party (PBB) has not formally determined the direction of support in 2019 presidential election. The statement came following its general chairman Yusril Ihza Mahendra appointment as incumbent President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) - Ma’ruf Amin pair lawyer.

According to PBB general treasurer, Arif Muhammaf, there was no command yet to determine the direction of support in presidential election. It would be decided at the national working meeting (mukernas) in early December.

He stressed Yusril will give decision in the meeting. “There is no directive yet, he (Yusril) will submit the result to determine the support in mukernas,” said Aris on Monday (Nov 5).

Earlier, Yusril asserted that he did not join the team to win pair of presidential candidate number 01. According to him, Jokowi-Ma'ruf already have Legal and Defense Division in their team.

As he stayed outside the structure of the team, Yusril reiterated that he was not an in-house lawyer. "As a professional lawyer, I am not part of Pak Jokowi-Pak Kiai Ma'ruf team in winning the electon," he said on Monday.
