REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will witness the renovation of the people's oil palm plants in Bagan Sinembah Subdistrict, Rokan Hilir District, Riau Province. Spokesman of the Presidential Secretariat Bey Machmudin said here on Tuesday that the President will be staying in Riau Province for two days to attend a number of activities and agenda.
One of them is the oil palm plants rejuvenation that will be done in Pelita Village, Bagan Sinembah Subdistrict, Rokan Hilir District.
In addition, the President is also scheduled to attend the 92nd Anniversary of Nahdlatul Ulama's Birthday before returning to Jakarta on Wednesday (May 9).
President Joko Widodo left for Riau province on Tuesday afternoon for a working visit.
The President was welcomed by Riau Governor Wan Thamrin Hasyim, Chief of Pangdam I / Bukit Barisan Military Command Maj. Gen. Ibnu Triwidodo and Riau Police Chief Inspector General Nandang.
