REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said he thinks check price could be a solution to putting an end to tariff war Ojek online drivers have complained about. The Ojek online drivers staged a rally to complain about tariff war.
"I think there should be ceiling and floor prices, but not yet. Tomorrow it would be decided after a meeting is held," Jokowi said at the state palace here on Tuesday.

Hundreds of Ojek online (Ojol) drivers stage a rally in front of Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Tuesday (March 27).
On Tuesday, the president together with Minister at the State Secretariat Pratikno, Transport Minister Budi Karya Sumadi and Chief of The Presidential Staff Moeldoko met five representatives of thousands of protesting Ojek online drivers in front of the state palace.
The protesters parked their motorbikes at Jalan Merdeka blocking the road for other vehicles, demanding the government to issue a regulation on tariff rationalization for Ojek online.
"They complained about tariff war among applicators. Therefore I have told the transport minister and the communications and information minister to invite the applicators and the drivers for a dialog tomorrow. In principle we will find a compromise," Jokowi said.
