REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Immigration authorities has issued travel ban on lawyer Fredrich Yunadi. The former lawyer of e-ID card graft case defendant Setya Novanto was banned from traveling abroad, either by airplanes, or through land and sea routes. The restriction is valid for the next six months.

In addition, Immigration authorities also imposed the same ban against Hilman Mattauch and Novanto's aide Reza Pahlevi. Achmad Rudyansyah who file a police report against KPK officials also shared the same restriction. The travel ban was issued based on request by KPK.

"The anti-graft institution said they still need information from four people related to the case that ensnares Novanto in e-ID card graft case and those four people must be in Indonesia territory to make it easier," said Head of Public Relations and General Directorate General of Immigration, Agung Sampurno when confirmed by Republika.co.id on Wednesday.

KPK has started the investigation of alleged obstruction of justice in the handling of e-ID card graft case. On Tuesday, KPK summoned former Metro TV stringer, Hilman Mattauch to dig informations related to single car accident occured when Novanto was on the run. Novanto was on wanted list since

On November 16, 2017, Hilman drove Novanto with his car and he hit electricity pole. A black sedan then came and rushed Novanto to Medika Permata Hijau hospital. It was a day prior to the examination that has been scheduled by KPK to the former House of Representative speaker.

Early on November 17, 2017, Fredrich said, the doctor has stated that his client was indicated to have a brain concussion due to severe head injury following the accident

Fredrich had been Novanto's lawyer since the former Golkar party's chairman been named as suspect in e-ID card graft case on July 17, 2017.  On September 29, 2017, he helped Novanto in winning the pre-trial appeal and invalid the suspect status on e-ID graft case.

On November 3, 2017, KPK re-named Novanto as suspect, for the second time. Fredrich filed another pre-trial motion and lost the battle.

On November 15, 2017, Fredrich admitted Novanto missed KPK summonses due to advice from team of lawyers

He decided to step down as Novanto's lawyer less than  week prior to inaugural session of Novanto hearing.

Novanto allegedly played a key role in a plan to swindle funds earmarked for the project and the act contributed to an estimated Rp 2.3 million in state losses.
