REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, KUPANG -- Swedish tourist Patrice Cyrille Marie Worth (76), missing after diving in the sea off the Komodo island East Nusa Tenggara on Dec 27, was found dead on Tuesday, police said.
Search and Rescue team including the navy and police officers had evacuated the body, Manggarai Barat police chief Adj.Sr.Com Julisa Kusumowardono said here.
The body was brought to the Siloam Hospital in Labuan Bajo for official police investigation.
The body was found floating in the sea by a tourist boat off the island of Sebayur Kecil, not far from the island of Mauwan, where he had declared missing.
Patrice swam and dived in the sea with 17 other tourist friends jumping from a hired motorboat Ombak Biru 219 GT.
Patrice, however, did not appear after diving. Her friend reported the incident to local police.
