REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Directorate of Immigration confirmed that Setya Novanto's wife, Deisti Astriani Tagor has been prevented from travelling abroad. The Immigration also has temporarily withdraw her passport.
"Yes, Deisti Tagor is prevented (to go abroad). We have received the application letter from Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK)," spokesperson of Directorate of Immigration of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, Agung Sampurno when contacted by Republika.co.id on Thursday (November 23).
Agung explained, the application letter on travel ban was received on Tuesday (November 21). The prevention is valid for six months since the issuance of travel ban.
"According KPK, the prevention needed as she is still in the process of being investigated on e-ID card procurement," he said.
Deisti missed the previous summon on Friday (November 10) citing illness.
According to KPK spokesperson Febri Diansyah, Deisti was examined to deepen the chronology of share ownership and shareholders of PT. Mondialindo Graha Perdana.
The company was known as one of shareholders of PT. Murakabi Sejahtera, participants of e-ID card procurement project.
"We need information from her as former commissioner of PT. Mondialindo Graha Perdana," Febri remarked.
