REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAYAPURA -- The Health Ministry will send some 300 doctors and dentists to Papua next year.
"The Health Ministry has promised to send 200 to 300 doctors and dentists to support the mobile medical teams to be recruited in districts and cities in Papua," Aloysius Giyai, head of the Papua health office, said here, Wednesday.
Indonesia's eastern most province of Papua has been facing a shortage of doctors and dentists so far.
The Papua health office will also recruit a number of paramedics from local colleges.
