REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, PALU -- Central Sulawesi Police have arrested suspected terrorists in Tolitoli. Perpetrators intended to attack the local police headquarters. "We have arrested them and they are still under investigation.
Tomorrow, Central Sulawesi police chief will convey an official statement," said Central Sulawesi Police spokesman Superintendent (AKBP) Hari Suprapto in Palu on Friday (March 10).
Police said as many as six suspected terrorists were arrested and secured by the Tolitoli Police, Central Sulawesi and Special Detachment 88, on Friday at around 08.30 am local time.
They were alleged planned to attack on local police headquarters and strategic area such as banking offices. Police secured evidences, among others KNO32 fertilizer, sulfur, charcoal, nails and methylated. Six suspected terrorists were known as their initials, SM, KF, SF, DR, JF, and IR. Meanwhile, at the same time another suspected terrorists were arrested in Parigi Moutong Regency, Central Sulawesi.
